UHC is planning to construct a new 4-storey modern administrative building at Jalan Lumba Kuda, which is located next to the Batu Gantong funeral parlour and its existing office. With the expansion and development of various new Columbarium, and the increasing need for funeral parlour facilities, it is timely for UHC to embark on this project to cater for a more sophisticated management team to better serve the need of the public. As such, UHC needs a bigger space for this purpose, together with enhanced office amenities such as lift, bigger conference room, space for record and filing and multi-purpose uses. In addition, the new building will have better car park provision for both the office workers as well as for the public. The architectural design is modern and functional, with a timeless aesthetic that reflect contemporary perception of such facilities. Hence the design deviate from the conventional traditional architecture, but instead adopts a modern and timeless design language. The metal cladding and glass façade reflects this modern and functional design, while also being practical for its long term durability and low maintenance.
